The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016-2017 will be launched on 21 September and include almost 1,000 institutions for the first time.

The list of the top universities in the world will rank 980 institutions from 79 countries making it THE’s biggest rankings to date. It will be published at 9pm (BST) on 21 September, five days before the launch of THE’s World Academic Summit at the University of California, Berkeley.
